Well, it's a question I've had in my mind, but have never got to asking before.

How does availability of runes work with the priest?

Sometimes I need to buy runes for my PvP characters, but they're never available.

You can't buy runes from a Priest of Balthazar, only unlock them (using faction). They are then available to PvP characters.

If you want to equip your heroes with runes then you'll have to go to a rune trader in a town, or salvage them off drops you get.

Your problem with runes is that you need to unlock minor first, then major, and finally superior rune.

yes, you have to unlock the minor, then major, then superior using Balthazar faction. Then they are available to put on your armor (of a PvP character) through the PvP Equipment button in the inventory menu.

Ah, that's why I can't unlock them.
Can I just buy Superior Runes from the trader? Because many of them are fairly cheap (except for monk runes lol)

Buying runes/insignas from a trader does not unlock them in PvP.
